Nocardia pneumonia is rare in immunocompetent hosts.Here, we present a case of a woman who presented to us with a chronic cough, fever, and weight loss of 2 months duration.Chest X-ray showed Hot nonhomogenous opacity.CT thorax showed a mass-like lesion in the right upper lobe.A bronchoscopy Door Stopper was done, and washings taken from the affected lobe confirmed it to be a case of Nocardia pneumonia.

She responded well to 6 months of therapy of trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole with an initial 1-month intensive phase of intravenous Imipenem along with it.
